Today, June 14, 2011, I got this news from my editor. The news that I have longed for for two tormenting months. All I did the whole summer was sit and type on my laptop and stress myself in thinking what to write to the remaining pages of Ethan Legarda's story. The truth is, he's the most stressful one. It was with his story where I experienced giving up and wanting to cry hoping that with my tears, I could get him done. But tears are useless without work and patience.
This morning, my editor texted me that Ethan's story was approved. I didn't know what to say. I can't shout. I can't scream my lungs out. Because we were scolded for being to noisy two times now. I can't afford causing trouble for my roomates. So what I did was covered my eyes and jumped up and down. My roomates started to laugh at me so what I did was made them read what my editor texted. They stared hugging me and jumping with me.
For someone like me, it is a huge gift to have a novel published. I'm not one of those writers who can write fast and have them approved fast. In my part, I have to exert more effort. More ideas. And more time. My every novel would cause me stress but it gives me happiness as well. Ethan was one of those novels whom I detested and love.
FACTS ABOUT ETHAN:
-Nathaniel Emette Legarda is the second oldest of the Legarda bachelors. (Enzo, being the first and Lynd the youngest.)
-Among the three, Ethan is the most playful when it comes to women.Maximum of one week in dating. Two minutes in kissing. And he'd be the boss. He'd drop you hot if he gets tired with you.
-He's a sucker for sandwiches.
-He sleeps a lot.
-His favorite word is, "bullshit". (Haha)
-He's afraid of his mom :)
-He has a younger sister named Evaine.
-His car was the only thing that received his true love.
-His car is a Reventon Lamborghini.
-He fancies exotically beautiful women.
-He doesn't hate love. He's afraid of it.
-He's allergic to peanuts.
-He hates being cheesy.
-He can't play basketball.
-He's not a gift and flowers person.
-He's possessive.
