Oh my goodness, this news story made my eyes pop: West Village pet shops have banned "drunken puppy buying." In the evenings, tipsy passersby stumble home from neighborhood bars, fall in love with puppies in the shop windows and drunkenly buy them...only to wake up the next morning and realize that they have a new puppy!
